CUSTOM KNIFE SHEATHS

Ahhh custom knife sheath's...Is there anything better?? The look and feel of a well made and fitted knife sheath made from quality leather...Nothing like it...But that look and feel comes at a cost..

My feeling's on this are simple...Why buy a knife that cost's ya a bundle and carry it in a piece of crap sheath?? However I do recognize that there is a nice chunk of the market that WANTS a nice custom made sheath that doesn't have the cheddar to drop $60-$80 on a small leather sheath..

So how do we fix this problem?? Simple...I concentrate on 2-3 different style's of sheaths, and since ALL of them are custom order's, I can concentrate on them on a one on one basis without worrying about keeping patterns around using up space and resources...And for a one man shop that does make a difference over time

So what can your favorite shoe cobbler do for ya you ask??  I can make you a sheath that you would be happy to walk around with, while at the same time keeping $$$ in your wallet...That's what!!!

What can I do for you the customer OR for the custom knifemaker that doesnt have time to craft the sheaths yourselves??

Exotic skins?? yuppers I can do it

Cross draws?? yup I can do that as well

So what is he going to charge me ya ask?? Simple formula that covers most orders..although the prices do change somewhat, depending on what ya want done...

Small(1"-5" blade)...$35.00 plus S/H

Medium(5"-9" blade)...$40.00 plus s/h

Large(10"-18" blade)...$50.00 plus s/h

Extra large...Price available on request

Quick draw sheaths are an additional  $10-$20 depending on size of blade...

Tooling is available for a slight additional charge

How are they made??

Small and medium sheaths are made from 8-9oz shoulder leather..

Large sheaths are made from 10oz leather

Pouch style sheaths are made with a welt that is equal to the size of leather being used and stitched using heavy-duty Nyltex..All points are reinforced with leather tacks or are double stitched..

Pancake style sheaths are a specialty of mine and are crafted to be about as strong and durable as a leather sheath can be made...They are crafted with 9-10oz leather...The belt loop is integral with the sheath, so it can be used as an EDC sheath without taking up alot of space on the belt...They can be done with a standard belt loop at a slight discount...They are crafted with a welt on the cutting edge that is equal to the size of leather being used, with extra material around the edges to give an extra margin for error and stitched using Nyltex thread and leather tacks or double stitching at the stress points on larger knives..

Quick draw sheaths are designed to allow the wearer to rapidly draw and present the weapon..Granted most times the only use for quickdraw rigs are for larger knives (Khuks etc..) that would be unwieldy for most average guy's arm length on a full draw...P
